In general, mortgage application records are retained for a minimum of three years following the date of the credit decision, and closed loan files are retained for a minimum of seven years following loan closing, or longer where required by law.
When information is no longer needed and retention is not required by law, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
